Eyne 2600, a welcoming nature resort par excellence

Font Romeu is opposite, on the other side of the Cerdagne plateau, 20 minutes from the resort. The Capcir region with Les Angles, Formiguères and the Lac de Matemale water sports center are 30 minutes away. Here you can enjoy swimming, sailing, horseback riding, archery, accrobranche, bike and pedal-boat hire... The Parc Animalier des Angles and the activities in the resort are also very popular.

The hot springs of Llo (15 mins) and the Roman baths of Dorres (25 mins) are also very popular.

For lovers of unspoilt nature, the Vallée d'Eyne Nature Reserve, within walking distance of the chalet, offers unique and protected Pyrenean fauna and flora. For more information, visit the Maison de la Vallée in the old village of Eyne.

Finally, ideally situated between Cerdagne and Capcir, Eyne 2600 is 20 minutes from the Spanish enclave of Llivia, Bourg Madame and Puigcerdá, and 1 hour 30 minutes from Andorra, where you'll enjoy a change of scenery and a spot of shopping.

Overlooking the Cerdagne from Cambre d'Aze

Depuis le sommet du Cambre d'Az
Experienced and well-equipped mountaineers can climb Cambre d'Aze, the mythical and benevolent mountain overlooking Eyne 2600, in summer and winter alike

Skiing in Cerdagne or Capcir

The Eyne ski resort is on a human scale. Easy to very technical, connected to Saint Pierre Del Forçat, it offers 800 meters of vertical drop and runs for all levels. Children, teenagers and adults can enjoy themselves in a rare and pleasant natural environment just 5 minutes from the chalet.

Beyond that, a wide choice of other resorts is available, whether for downhill, cross-country or touring skiing. On the other side of the plateau, opposite the chalet, you'll find Font Romeu and Pyrénées 2000 (25 mins). On the Spanish side, 40 minutes away, La Molina, a beautiful, little-known resort in Spanish Catalonia, offers great skiing in winter and enduro mountain biking in summer.

Still 40 minutes away, the Capcir resorts of Les Angles and Formiguères are often well-snowed and well-equipped.

Last but not least, Andorra, with its exceptional complex of village resorts grouped together to form a unique, Alpine-style ski area, is just 1 hour 30 minutes away.

Le Vieux Village d'Eyne

The old village of Eyne is home to a number of local businesses, allowing you to shop with local producers (bakers, dairy, meat, honey, etc.).

A few minutes' drive away, on the opposite side of the valley, more commercial villages such as Mont Louis, Bolquère and Font Romeu, as well as Saillagouse and Bourg Madame, on the way to Spain, offer a wide range of shops, restaurants and other useful services.

Llivia, Office du Tourisme et Musée près de l'Eglise

Spain is just a stone's throw away, and the Catalan language is omnipresent, both among the locals and on the radio. All of which adds to the charm of the place.

So don't hesitate and take advantage of Llivia, Puigcerdá, its local shops, restaurants and sports facilities, while paying careful attention to opening hours, which can be very different from those in France.
